Privacy Policy
Updated October 12, 2026
Ride Pings is made by ACWebDev, LLC (doing business as amplifi.studio). This policy covers the Ride Pings iPhone app and this website.
What stays on your phone and in your iCloud
Your trips, the rides you mark as ridden, and your ping settings are saved on your phone. If you're signed in to iCloud, the app also keeps a copy in your own iCloud account so your devices stay in sync. That copy is stored by Apple under your Apple Account; we can't see it.
You can also export everything as a file from the Trips tab and import it on another device.
What we store on our server
- The rides you set pings for and the wait you chose for each.
- Which of those rides you've ridden on your current trip, so you aren't pinged for them.
- Your phone's notification address from Apple, so we can send your pings.
- A backup of your trips and ride history, so they come back if you reinstall.
- A record of pings we sent you (ride, wait, and time).
- A random ID and a secret key the app creates for your phone.
We don't collect your name, email, location, contacts, or advertising identifiers. There's no account, no tracking, and no analytics.
How we use it
Only to check wait times and send the pings you asked for, and to restore your trips. We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts our server and database.
- Apple delivers notifications to your phone, and stores your iCloud copy if you use iCloud.
- ThemeParks.wiki provides park wait times. The app and server ask it for park data only; nothing about you is sent to it.
How long we keep it
Until you delete it. Phones that haven't contacted our server in 12 months are removed automatically.
Deleting your data
In the app: Trips, then Delete my data. That removes everything on our server and the copy in your iCloud. Or email adam@amplifi.studio and we'll delete it.
Children
Ride Pings isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
