- How do pings work?
- Tap a ride, pick a number under “Ping me under,” and tap Set ping. Our server checks live waits every minute and sends one notification when the wait reaches your number. It sends another only if the wait goes back up and drops again.
- I'm not getting notifications.
- Open Settings, then Notifications, then Ride Pings, and make sure Allow Notifications is on. Then use the Test button on the Pings tab. Pings also stay quiet for rides that are closed or down, and for rides you've already marked as ridden on this trip.
- Do I need the app open?
- No. Pings come from our server, so they arrive with the app closed. You do need an internet connection to set or change a ping.
- Which parks are supported?
- Disneyland Resort is set up by default. When you start a new trip you can pick from any resort covered by ThemeParks.wiki, including Walt Disney World, Universal, and Tokyo Disney Resort.
- How accurate are the waits?
- Wait times are posted by the parks and delivered by ThemeParks.wiki. They refresh every few minutes and can differ from what you see at the ride.
- How do I move my trips to a new phone?
- If you're signed in to iCloud, they sync on their own. You can also open Trips, tap Export, and send the file to yourself, then use Import on the other phone. Importing adds rides; it never erases what's already there.
- How do I delete my data?
- In the app, open Trips, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete my data. That removes everything stored on our server for your phone. Deleting the app removes what's on your phone. You can also email us and we'll delete it.
